    Neoclassicism according to Moser

Most of the vases in this collection were created around 1920 when the influence of neoclassicism culminated in Moser products. The Karlovy Vary glassworks added its authentic signature to classical and Renaissance inspiration and brought the period art style to the world of functional design. Thus, the stylishly modest Purity, the captivating Diva, and the timeless Eternity were born, alongside other vases that joined the perennial stars in our portfolio.

    The colour revolution

Together with timeless design, the vases also saw success thanks to a brand-new technological innovation that has since become typical of Moser. In other words: the Moser colours. In the early 20th century, Czech glassworks primarily made clear crystal, so when Leo Moser came up with his first colourful variations, a true revolution had begun. Next followed years of experimenting until the basic Moser palette was made, inspired by precious stones: yellow eldor, purple alexandrite, honey topaz, pink rosaline, blue-green beryl, and blue aquamarine. These are the iconic colours with a strictly guarded recipe, thanks to which Moser vases never lose their vividness, even more than a century later.
